Yeah delete the folder the game extracts into completely. That way anything hidden will be deleted. Do a fresh install with the game. Just in case the original download became corrupted. You should download the game fresh. To eliminate path issues it is always a good idea to create a new dedicated folder for any game that you will have regular updates with. Like on your main hard drive create a folder named HHG, or something similar. When the game goes to extract direct it to that folder. This should clear up any issues with your saves. I have had similar issues before with other games, and most often it was a path issue where it crossed with an earlier version.

Start the game and go to load saved game. If your manual saves aren't there, there is a good chance the games auto saves are there. It auto saves every time you sleep in your bed. Also you can try saving your game in different save slots. Make sure you did not install your 1.2 in the same folder as 1.1. This would cause save games path issues. Since 1.1 saves are not compatible with 1.2.

The game itself unpacked is a little under 10 gigs. Normal running of any game requires the space for the game, and 1.5 times the total size for a running buffer. So at 10 gigs you would need at least 25 gigs free to run without any issues.

For al of you who are experiencing lag during play through in version 1.2. The new rendering high res textures are putting a heavy draw on your video. To compensate without losing quality. Increase your refresh rate on your video card. Also use multisampling on your anti-aliasing. Also it would be a good idea to set your video to be dedicated to your game. Having it split between your computer, and the game reduces the graphics rendering. Higher end cards this is not so much of a problem, but on your lower end cards it really strains them. Also under windows options you can dedicate some of your ram to video as well to assist your GPU. Keep in mind before you complain that your computer may not be on par with Komisari's. As a game designer they try to bring their vision to life, and can't please everyone. Not only on performance issues, but also on game play. If you still have issues you can always lower the quality of the graphics. I will not go into detail about my rig, but I had no problems with the play through, and thought it was great. Sometimes when the screen goes black. Give your rig a mulligan, and let it catch up to the graphics. It don't always crash when games do that. Try to support Komisari for their dedication to give you a free game, and not bash them for something "You didn't pay for!". Sorry for raising my voice, but I was afraid I wouldn't be heard over the complaints. Great job Komisari, and keep up the good work. Can't wait to see naughty Mrs. Claus Lucy for Christmas.

Just finishing playing through 1.2. A nice improvement to 1.1. I do like the skills tree, and hope to see more in 1.3. Quick question though in case I am missing something. There are parts of the guild that show on the guild map, but can't seem to find a way to build or unlock them. I was wondering if they were just place holders at the current version. Plus Ari seems to go to the dojo at noon I believe, but I can't go there to visit her. Not sure if that is a bug, or intentional place holder for future updates. Plus there are a number of items you seem to collect, but can't do anything with. The slime, and raw meat for example just keep piling up. Still two thumbs up on such a great job. Glad to see your back, and everything is all right on the home front. Love the little hints you put in like easter eggs for Evie. I thought something was up with her, but the horns I think may have been to obvious of a hint. Will you put in a christmas event for them as well? Keep up the great work, and remember to never ever drop your broom...ever.

Ok this goes out to all of those out there who are only thinking of themselves. So many comments to hey where is the release? Where is the update? Seriously look at what others have been talking about before you start typing. Something serious has happened in Komisari's life right now, and all you can think of is yourself. You type out false words you don't truly mean to curry favor with Komisari, and then selfishly ask for something. If you truly meant what you wrote then you would stop thinking about what you want, and ask "Hey Komisari, is there anything I can do to help." Yeah I am as eager as anyone else to play the new update, but I pay attention. Stop bugging people for a handout, and actually care about another human being. I feel better now. I am sorry for all those close to Komisari that have to read this, but all those comments got on my last nerve. Komisari take your time, and dedicate all your attention to where it needs to be IRL. Your real fans aren't going anywhere. Make sure to take care of yourself to.

Wow I did not think someone would actually come out and say it. I am glad I wasn't the only one who got "The Rising of the Shield Hero" vibe from the hero. I mean just a shield, and he uses it as a weapon to. Lol, but in all honesty it was a cute reference to one of my favorite anime's. Though in all honesty, I am so looking forward to being able to actually defend myself, and the girls who risk themselves to defend me. I feel like such a lame hero, having to always be defended. If you add Raphatalia I might just throw something at you. Still a huge fan though, and keep up the great work. I keep checking back hoping to see a new update, and can't wait for it to come out. Oh quick question on the next update. Is it just a refinement, and mechanics update, or is it a story expansion update? Maybe a bit of both? Just curious, and you don't have to add spoilers. I am just wondering what to look forward to.

Early on after about half way through, it mentioned something about guild outfits. I think it was one of the events with Lucy. I kept checking all the way to the end of the current content, but no new outfits ever showed up. I was wondering if this is still a planned thing, or if I missed something. I have been mining and fishing to earn enough money for them. Particularly since she said they were going to be expensive. So far I have saved 22 gold, but nothing to buy. Oh I do really love your game. The conversations, and the interaction between the characters is priceless. A great balance between the porn side of the game, and the deep personalities all of the girls have. As a writer it is not often I find myself rooting for some one else's story. Some very nice personality switches, and hidden twists. Two thumbs up from me. Keep up the good work, and do what you love for the people you love.
